Uniting guest teachers across Kerala's colleges β advocating for rights, dignity, and equal opportunities in higher education.
The All Kairali College Guest Teachers Association (AKCGTA), registered under KKD/165/2026, is the premier organisation representing guest faculty members employed across government and aided colleges throughout the state of Kerala.
Guest teachers form the backbone of higher education in Kerala β teaching thousands of students across hundreds of colleges while often facing precarious employment conditions, lack of job security, and absence of basic service benefits available to regular faculty.
AKCGTA was founded with the conviction that every teacher, regardless of employment category, deserves dignity, fair remuneration, and service continuity. We work through democratic processes, legal advocacy, and coordination with the Government of Kerala, University Grants Commission, and individual universities to secure the rights of our members.
With district-level committees across all 14 districts of Kerala, AKCGTA maintains an active grassroots presence, ensuring that the concerns of guest teachers in every corner of the state are heard and addressed.
